About the pub
The Brovarnia brew-pub was founded in 2008 in a very interesting location - an impressive 18th century granary, which also houses a hotel. The facility boasts a long and rich tradition of beer-making in Gdańsk, which can be traced all the way back to the 13th century. All beers are brewed according to the famed Bavarian Purity Law from 1516 and some ingredients, such as malt and hops, are delivered to Gdańsk from Bamberg, Germany.
