Minibrowar Kowal

The Kowal microbrewery was established in 2008, on the premises of the old (neo-gothic) Koszalin city brewery. The Koszalin city brewery which dates from the 19th century is actually owned by Van Pur, but Kowal remains an independent brewery. With Koszalin belonging to Germany up until 1945, the brewery buildings have retained their distinctive teutonic character. Around 1000 hl. are produced per year, including unpasteurised and unfiltered beers. Kowal provides beers for its restaurant, as well as supplying the trade and through the internet.
