BEERPUBS Privacy Policy
When you register with BEERPUBS, we do NOT require any personally sensitive data such as full name, address or date of birth. We only ask users to tell us their year of birth, gender and country for statistical reasons, for example, so we know how popular BEERPUBS is with different age groups and genders.
Registered users When registering, users are required to create an account and password. Users are also required to tick a box to confirm that they are over the minimum drinking age in their country of residence (e.g. 18 in Poland). We collect year of birth, gender and country for statistical purposes only.
Anonymity When registering, users can decide whether they wish to use a real identity (username and photo) or to remain anonymous by using an alias on the website. Users are responsible for selecting a username and personal photo/icon that will preserve their anonymity, should they not wish to disclose their identity to other users when using the website (e.g. when making comments, using chat, making beer and pub ratings etc). We will normally only use personal information (username, e-mail) to send users information that has been requested, or to contact users specifically in relation to matters concerning the BEERPUBS website. BEERPUBS also uses personal data in consolidated or aggregated statistical analysis, but does NOT disclose any personally-identifying information in such statistics. BEERPUBS may publish or display only consolidated statistical data.
Disclosure of your information BEERPUBS will NOT provide third parties with any of your personal data (such as your username or email), other than as set out below:
(a) as required by law Any personal information that you submit to us will be held in accordance with our responsibilities under data protection legislation.
Information about beer & brewery offers and updates If you have registered, we may wish to use your email address occasionally to inform you of website updates, brewery news and beer/pub offers. At any stage you can inform us that you no longer wish to receive any information by clicking on the 'unsubscribe' option in all emails.
Storing your data BEERPUBS stores users' personal data inside the European Economic Area. Data stored on BEERPUBS will be stored in a secure manner and all reasonable precautions are taken to ensure that any such data cannot be accessed by unauthorised parties.
Passwords Users are responsible for keeping their password confidential. Users should not share their password with other users.
Your rights Users may contact us at any time at support@BEERPUBS.pl to ask us to delete any personal information which we hold about you. We recommend that you should regularly review the personal information you have supplied to us to ensure that your information is correct and up to date.
Right to amend BEERPUBS reserves the right to make changes to our privacy policy in the future at our discretion. Any changes will be posted on this page and users are encouraged to check regularly for any changes. A user's continued use of the site will be treated as acceptance of any changes to the privacy policy.
