Browar Bojanowo

The history of brewing in Bojanowo dates from1881, when a German entrepreneur Franz Junke founded his brewery. Shortly before the outbreak of the Second World War the Poznanin company took over the brewery, but after the war the company was nationalized. In the 1970's production capacity was increased significantly - up to 100 000. hectolitres. Unfortunately, after difficult years during the 90's, the brewery was put into liquidation in 1999. It was only in 2012, when the historic buildings of the brewery were renovated by Marek Jakubiak (owner of the Ciechan and Lwówek brweries), that the tradition of brewing in Bojanowo was revived.
