Browar Ciechan

Ciechan Brewery is situated in the town of Ciechanów in northern Mazovia. The region has a long brewing history (dating from the 13th century) and the current brewery was established in 1864. There were numerous changes in ownership in a long history. In more recent times the brewery was known as Gambrinus, from 2002 to 2004. Today, the brewery is owned by the Ciechan Company, which in 2009 also purchased the Lwówek brewery. Beer is still brewed in the Ciechan brewery today using traditional methods and equipment. The authentic lagering tanks are still located in the old basement and beer is brewed according to old recipes with quality in mind. The owners remain committed to producing natural and often unfiltered beer and plan to continue increasing its availability throughout the country.
