The IPA style was initially designed by British brewers for exporting by sea to India, and involved the addition of a large portion of hops to help preserve the beer. This is a top-fermented, fresh, unpasteurised beer. Both its taste and aroma are dominated by fresh, hop-derived accents of pine and citruses.
