Beer News:

Lubin awaits with beer and… flowers

 Lubinski -

During the upcoming long weekend, 1-3 May, Lubin will host Lubiński Festiwal Piwa and an associated festival of flowers and plants.

The first of the festival’s two editions planned for this year will take place on lubińskie błonia, a large green area next to Wzgórze Zamkowe community centre. Among the beer attractions will be the usual opportunity to try a variety of beers at stalls of breweries from around the country, as well as workshops and a collectors exchange.

Making sure the atmosphere stays positively festive throughout the three days will be numerous music bands. The concerts will begin at 3pm each day, culminating with an evening star performance at 8pm, with Budka Suflera’s presence on the last day being a particular highlight.

One distinguishing attraction for all visitors will be Festiwal Kwiatów i Roślin (the Festival of Flowers and Plants), held at the same time and location as the beer event. It will therefore provide perfect opportunity to combine beer tasting with visual and olfactory sensations provided by the most exquisite plants in the country. Flowers, bushes and ornamental trees will all be available to buy, too.
