Beer News:

Beer festival in the capital

Warszawski Festiwal Piwa

On Friday 10 October Poland’s capital city will host the Warsaw Beer Festival

The growing event has certainly joined the elite group of the biggest beer festivals in the country, a fact which visitors will be able to witness themselves over the three days of the upcoming weekend.

The halls of Centrum Konferencyjno-Targowe will play host to stalls representing dozens of craft and contract breweries, as well as pubs and beer retailers. The high number of exhibitors will provide a myriad of beers – both familiar brews and new offerings – to choose from, and the organisers have kindly compiled a list, which was incorporated in the festival’s brochure, available at the link below.

No less attractive to many visitors will be the numerous lectures given by invited guests. Word of caution: entry to some of the more ‘specialist’ presentations will be charged, but the upshot will be the opportunity to hear some of the most famous figures of the Polish craft beer scene, such as Czesław dziełak and Piotr Wypych.

Additionally, throughout the festival visitors will be able to attend an exhibition of beer ingredients, as well as find out the results of the local Home Beer Contest.
